What joy, what beauty, what bliss
Two hearts tangled together in ecstasy
Giving more, and more
More than they ever thought they could give.
and love
What pain, what loss
A “broken” heart
A term taken too lightly
Broken it is
The pieces that were gladly given before
Taken, gone forever
Trampled in the mud.
The most common topic among
hearts of all ages; all backgrounds
God’s greatest gift
and our greatest struggle
So many words, songs, poems
and all other manner of expression
about one word,
one concept,
We give and receive advice,
through the ages;
Since the beginning of time.
But we never learn.
It is the one thing we cannot control –
our hearts.
